I'm a PHD student in the University of strasbourg 1 since decembre 2002 ; I use to work in ICPS (Image and
Parallel Copmputing) laboratory under the direction of Pr Philippe Clauss.
Area of research
I worked on profiling methods during my DEA's stage, and it concerned particularly
the state of the art of different methods for profiling. In the resulting document, i have presented some
ideas leading to a new approach of profiling which is a collaboration between static and dynamic analysis.
In my thesis, i work on program profiling for compilation and optimization.
Considering the accuracy of the profiling
(dynamic analysis of programs) while compiling and
optimizing programs, and knowing the process of profiling (instrumenting the code,
multi compilations and executions), i'm interested in conception and manipulation of a collaborative approach
of differents technics of program anlysis. So the aim is to develop and implement
and adaptative method of profiling, making for example usage of librairies such as polylib.
