Current projects

  • Cloud Broker: Client-side strategies to use cloud resources.
    [with Julien Gossa, Etienne Michon].
  • P2P-MPI enables message-passing parallel programs on grids. It allows users to transparently find processors and increase execution fault-tolerance. The application must be developed in Java, using the P2P-MPI message passing library which conforms MPJ.
    [with Choopan Rattanapoka].
  • SMPI : simulation of MPI programs without source code modification. SMPI is one of the programming interface to the SimGrid simulator toolkit. It enables to simulate a paralell program on a single machine given a description of the hosts and the network performances and setups.

Participation to Funded Projects:

  • 2012-2015 : Songs aims to extend the applicability of the SimGrid simulation framework from Grids and Peer-to-Peer systems to Clouds and High Performance Computation systems.
  • 2011-2013 : E2T2 aims to improve numerical simulation of plasma physics at the edge of tokamaks.
  • 2009-2011 : Uss-SimGrid aims to improve and extend the SimGrid simulation toolkit.
  • 2009-2011 : SPADES project aims design and build a highly dynamic environment allowing users to take advantage of high-end computing devices enrolled in a very large scale infrastructure without disturbing their native use.

Past projects:

  • Ray2Mesh: High performance software tools for seismic tomography ray2mesh. It aims at computing a realistic Earth model using seismic tomography. We use massive quantities of seismic waves records to ray-trace waves propagation inside a global Earth mesh with thin cells. We then refine the mesh by adapting cell sizes to improve the information quantity and quality contained in each cell.
